Capture 3D GOM Casting Workshop | Dayton, Ohio | May 22, 2018

Capture 3D GOM International Casting Workshop

Our complimentary workshop is a part of an international workshop series with 42 different locations between Asia and North America between January and May 2018. The global GOM network created the event series to share cutting-edge process and metrology knowledge to design engineers, pattern and mold makers, and specialists from research & development, quality assurance, and production.

During the workshop, you will learn how innovative 3D measuring technologies are used in casting and foundry process chains to support and accelerate all stages in sand casting, pressure die casting and investment casting: from tool and model making, molding shop and core making up to first article inspection reports and CNC machining optimization.

Capture 3D will host the workshop in Dayton, Ohio for those in the casting industry to meet face to face. There is no cost to attend and it includes breakfast and lunch along with light refreshments.

Please register early as seating is limited.

Tuesday, May 22, 2018
9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Hilton Garden Inn Dayton Beavercreek
3520 Pentagon Park Blvd.
Dayton, Ohio 45431

In addition to the exchange of experiences, the workshop will have guest speakers. Leading industry companies show how integrating optical measuring systems into the process chain helps shorten development times and improve production workflows. The workshops will introduce the latest developments in 3D metrology, measurement and inspection software.

We look forward to your registration. For further information, see the enclosed invitation or visit our workshop page at www.gom-workshop.com/us.

Free GOM Inspect 2017 Software Download

GOM Inspect is free mesh processing and inspection software for dimensional analysis of 3D point clouds from structured blue/white light scanners, laser scanners, CT scanners and other measuring devices.  The software is entirely free to use and results can be shared between departments, vendors, and/or with customers for faster communication to help speed up the decision making process.  GOM Inspect 2017 contains all of the evaluation tools necessary for extensive analysis of parts and components. It is independently tested and certified by German and American national measurement laboratories (PTB, NIST). The accuracy of the evaluation software is verified by comparing the results obtained from the software with reference results. GOM Inspect has been placed in class 1, the class of the smallest deviations.
