GOM ScanCobot is a complete solution with a motorized rotation table, a high-end PC for rapid digital twin creation, 3D data processing, and intelligent software for 3D scanning, inspection, and automation. With dimensions of 975 mm × 755 mm and a working height of 1,000 mm, it fits in small spaces, and its installed wheels make it easy to transport from one location to the next, so you can bring it with you wherever you need efficient and accurate measurement results.
With the ability to automatically inspect and digitize parts with a weight up to 50 kg, a diameter of up to 500 mm, and a height of a maximum of 500 mm, the GOM ScanCobot improves efficiency in quality control of small to medium-sized parts, including plastics, metal, and casting. You can create automation routines with automatic sensor positioning while the software concurrently performs measurement planning, digitization, and inspection. GOM Software accelerates measurement by automatically performing measurement planning, digitalization, and inspection all at once. The robot and software work together to find measurement positions while simultaneously learning optimal movements, creating an easy-to-operate intelligent, guided user interface on a single straightforward platform.
Auto Teach technology finds optimal measurement positions while simultaneously learning the best movements for an efficient measurement process. A project’s CAD data is imported along with the associated measurement plan to determine the necessary sensor positions and robot paths automatically at the push of a button. By activating Kiosk Interface, you can quickly measure parts using existing project templates without having to adjust the programming between scans. In addition to enhancing process reliability, this also enables the easy exchange of users and their measuring and inspection roles in the measurement process through production.
